Our Wrought Iron Balusters, Spindles, and Newel Posts are actually made from much stronger Forged Steel offered in various sizes and style families.  

Our product "Families" refer to the size and shape of the cross section of the material, making it easier to select Balusters, Spindles, Newel Posts, and their associated installation hardware and accents of the same size and style to ensure that they will properly integrate with one another.  For example: Family [A] indicates that the ends of these products are constructed of a 1/2 inch plain square cross section.
